OCTOBER 29TH | Vision & Transparency
Welcome to the first of our professional capacity building workshops. In this session we will discuss laying the groundwork as a leader for digital initiatives and reinforce that this is not a technology initiative, but a transition of the learning and teaching culture in your schools and district.
Essential Question:
Are your LEA/Charter leaders prepared to lead and create a vision for 21st century education?

Laying the Groundwork | Leadership
This is not primarily a technology project, nor is technology its main focus. This is about enhancing teaching and learning to personalize and differentiate learning for students and best meet their immediate and long term needs.
Your initiative focuses on sound pedagogy and content knowledge for educators and leveraging instructional technology through the use of 21st century strategies, tools, and resources.
Moving Forward
We will be meeting together face-to-face over the next few months. After each workshop you will be asked to go back to your Instructional Leadership Team and work on an element of your Digital Leadership Matrix, a document created for you to collect and reflect on the topics we will be covering. Consider loading this document into Google Docs for collaborative document sharing.
